AN INVITATION

It is my great pleasure to announce that the administration of Mount Abu, Rajasthan, will be organizing "Abu Summer Festival, 2014", from 12th - 14th May. Our intention is to bring in professional and cultural artists from around the country for this said fest, who shall display for the townsfolk and its visitors the fullest extent of their artistry and finesse - and for which the slogan "Many Cultures, One India", is adopted as its theme.

To this very end, the District Collector of Sirohi, Shri Sarvan Kumar IAS has, in his generosity, agreed to the invitation of a cultural trope from amongst our tribes, whose tour and stay will last from 6th May till 18th May, and who shall showcase some of our best highland dances.

Everyone else inclined to participate in the festival is welcome. The hill city and its blessings will be thrown open to anyone who wish to see in it all the varied festivities - including, among other shows, parasailing, spicmackey, boat racing, karaoke, horse riding, tug-of-war, football matches, cricket n volley ball matches, trekking, cycling, painting, sculpting, various other entertainment events, with dances all around and multitudinous songs lighting up the nights of the mount skies...

And it is with gratitude that I extend this invitation to all highlanders who wish to beheld in this hour the finest visual art and poesy our hills has on offer ...
