Sophia Bailong bags Gangte Traditional Attire Photo Contest
Ccpur Apr 15: In a contest that creates massive waves amongst the facebook users, Sophia Bailong - a young and promising Delhi-based modeller has bagged the Gangte Traditional Photo Contest, of which the result was announced yesterday. The contest which started on 2nd April 2014 and ended on the 15th April 2014 and was organized by the Huihchim Media Foundation. Celebrating the age-old tradition in sytle, the traditional attire contest was participated by 25 participants from from various walks of life. The contest was based on the number of 'likes' secured by participants amongst the Huihchim Facebook netizens. In keeping with theme 'Uphold thy Tradition', many of the voters have gone 4 innovation of the age-old traditional attire with modern touch. Sophia is to be richer by Rs 2222 (+Citations + well frame printed photo + Free adv in our feature Huihchim Magazine) while Mr John will walked home with Rs 1111. Top 10 consolations was awarded too. The cash prize were sponsored by Thangdousang, in loving memory of his beloved father, (L) Helkhomang Gangte, who expired on 14th December, 2003.
