A statement of the union, that also called on the State's Transport Department to amicably settle the matter at the earliest, said they have convened a meeting with both the parties, twice, but ended up without any positive steps as none from the passenger busses turn up for the meeting.
Despite its efforts, AMBOF has threatened to cease all passenger buses along the Tedim Road albeit the sentiments of the public who had already suffered for many days, said the statement. In the light of such development the union conveys that it would take up any possible measures to ensure free, fair and smooth service along the Tedim Road if their request to resume service from Monday was not adhere to.
