Appropos the news item that appears in most of the Imphal-based local newspapers and electronic medias Dated 8th Oct, 2012, alleging me and Phungzathang Tonsing, Hon'ble Minister (Health, GAD & TADA), Goverment of Manipur in connection with the incident at P.Songlianlal's residence on 7th Oct, 2012 

The allegation against me are baseless and unfounded. It is a wild statement given simply to malign my images. I have no connection with the alleged perpetrators. Further, PSonglianla has never been my political rival at any stage and his grievances, whatsoever, are unrelated to me
