JSSK: Is a newly launched component of NHRM, a national Flagship program in India by the Govt. It was launched by the Govt. of India on 1st June, 2011.

Main Objective: Free entitlement including cashless delivery and C-sections for pregnant women and free management of sick neonates upto 30days of birth.

Expected benefit: It will benefit more than 1 crore pregnant women and sick newborn babies in Inda and bring back 70lakhs women who would deliver at Home due to lack of Money/ poverty to institutional delivery thereby bring down 67,000 maternal death and 9 lakhs neonatal deaths that take place in the country every year!!
