Autumn beckons Kut and there is no better season than the romantic autumn to celebrate this festival that marks plentiful harvest, as the door of heaven opens and pours its bountiful blessings faithfully, from generation to generations.

Here we go again this autumn to celebrate the festival of Kut with great pomp and gaiety at Shilpgram auditorium, Panjabari Road Guwahati-781037 on 17th of November 2012 Saturday.

The Kut Organising Committee under the aegis of Kuki Welfare Association, Guwahati requests your kind presence to make the celebration a huge success.

Shri Prithibi Majhi, Hon'ble Minister of Revenue, Disaster Management Labour and Employment, Tea Tribes Welfare, Government of Assam has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest.

Pu A. Lienthang, KUMPIPA will grace the celebration as KUTPA and Pu D.P. Haokip IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax (GoI) will be the GUEST of HONOUR.

The Kuki community in Guwahati pledges to mark the occasion as a festival of peace among all brethrens and has dedicated “Harvesting peace through culture” as the theme for 2012.
