IMPHAL MOREH HIGHWAY INDEFINITE BANDH SUSPENDED

The proposed indefinite bandh along Imphal- Moreh section of National Highway 102 called by the Tengnoupal Village Authority has been suspended following the responsible group claimed the incident.

Speaking to the media persons, Lunminthang Haokip, Secretary of Tengnoupal Village said the the proposed indefinite bandh along the Imphal- Moreh road has been suspended following the responsible group claimed the incident of planting and triggering of IED at Sita Lamkai Assam Rifles Check point near Tengnoupal on 17th November as their handiwork.

While expressing gratitude to all the organizations who endorsed the bandh, the village Secretary also appealed all the outlaw organizations not to plant and trigger bomb in the vicinity of a village or in the crowd places in the near future.
