Reception for the two elected MP

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee today facilitated the two elected INC-MP from Inner and Outer Manipur Parliamentary constituency at Congress Bhawan in Imphal. Top Congress state leaders and other politician were present.

Speaking at the function CM O.Ibobi said that the change in the centre will not affect the State. He also asserted that the state is in control of its own Plan and Policies , which will not be affected by the 'change of the government"

Acknowledging the jittery , with the neck to neck fight, and both winning at a close margin , CM termed it " ups and downs that is natural in politics". Echoing the same , Dy CM Gaikhangam played down the anti- incumbency wave but rather cautioned upon new entrants from "outside" the state, the Naga People's Front, which he said have surprisingly influenced many voters.

While expressing their gratitude, the two MPs promised to perform better this term.
