#ADOPTED: What an assurance that I had been/am/will always be taken care of, by the loving hands of our Heavenly Father. It was quite an essential Spiritual Refresher needed all along, the reassurance that my Soul longed for.
#Eduardo’s testimony was of something that I relate myself to, in terms of losing someone in one's life who can never be replaced, the wholeness however brings one right back to God from the wilderness.
#Trevor’s sermon was short yet cuts right through the Heart, well defined and compact.
#Let alone his musical ability, U Lalpi’s worship leading skill was really extraordinary. It was such a great pleasure to have Praised and Worshipped God with the Team.

[09/11, 7:50 PM] xxxx: It was really a blessing and a privilege for me to be part of the Worship Event with the Gospel Team from City View Baptist Church, Vancouver, Canada organised by EBCC, Delhi. The songs aroused my spirit and crave for the Lord and gave me a desperate desire to do His Will. I was so glad as I realised that I was adopted by God and who was an outsider was made insider by His Grace alone. The short and sweet sharing by Pastor Trevor Josh touched me from inside out. Looking forward for more of this kind of worship events. Thanks to the worship team of EBCC, Delhi for organising this event.

1. In Lalpi I saw his mom (now with an advanced case of Alzheimer's disease) and the success of her prayers and deep devotion to God.
2. Musical instruments used in true worship in no way hampered the worship atmosphere. In the hands of worshippers they only enhanced the depth of worship.
3. Prayerful choice of songs and including all time popular songs like 'Van Laukhasiangthou' (during worship service on 5th Nov @11AM) synced with the mood and need of the congregation. May God continue to bless them!

As we came to the end of the joint fellowship with our brothers from Cityview Church, Canada, let me propose vote of thanks.

Yes, Pastor Josh, Pastor Lalpi Guite and brother Equardo, thank you for your kind visit to this church all the way from Vancouver, Canada. In today’s prog we miss Pastor Josh for his ill health. We found our two-day fellowship wonderful and meaningful. And how sweet and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell in unity. United in praise & worship. For this very purpose we are created and destined to as believers in Christ.

Your inspiring messages and touching testimonies visibly impacted us. Particularly, testimonies of brother Equardo and the song of Pastor Lalpi, “When I feel forshaken, I still count on you”. The art of music & sound, its melody and your magical voices ignited us in offering praise & worship.

Indeed, your performances and the order of worship you led impressed and it gives us lots of enthusiasm. I hope this will go along way in the journey of the church. Once again, we thank you all.

Music is integral to our culture. Long before when modern music instruments, sophisticated equipments & music organs came to us, our forefathers had invented musical instruments of their own. By blowing bamboo tube, beating drums (made of well tightened dry animal skins), horns of mithun, clapping hands and even with thumping of feet our fore fathers had melodious sound. Therefore, our special interest and love for music today is no exception. Rather I should say that we are blessed as we can offer praise & worship to the Holy Father with those things that we loved and cherished.

While concluding, I would like to make a point to ponder. What is true worship & praise that is acceptable and pleasing to God? Renowned poet Gerard Hopkins said and I quote “to lift up hands in prayer gives God glory, but a man with pitchfork in his hand, and a woman with a slop pail, give Him glory too. God is so great that all things give Him glory if you mean that they should” unquote. And the Bible Col. 3:23 teaches us “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord and not for human masters”. And Jesus said “God is spirit and those worshippers must worship in spirit and truth.”

Therefore, whatever we do we should do with sincere heart and not just for the people around us or to show off to the world but as for the Lord. Then and then only we can offers praise & worship that pleased our Father in heaven.
