TO
THE MOST HONOURABLE (TOP ECHELON OF THE POLITICAL/RULING)
CHIEF MINISTER OF MANIPUR, SHRI O. IBOBI SINGH
Sir, may I (aam admi/& who unfortunately occupies the lowest rung of the society) humbly ask you to spend your most valuable time on the issues which struck and deeply pained me a lot?
First thing first:-
(i) Education:
The whole world know (and may feel ashamed of) the then recruitment process of PRIMARY TEACHERS (if not Lecturers), where MONEY mattered a lot!
Your good offices/sub-ordinates “openly demanded” three (3), four (4) or five (5) lakhs, which this small fry could not afford. May I call it a great shame, Sir?
Not necessarily blowing my own trumpet, this jobless fella was the first to finish the paid examination (though he may not have the chance to occupy the last one in the orchestrated examination) at the Rayburn college-one of the prestigious educational institutions in the state. I stand by truth & justice & the fact may be ascertained by the then CDSU’s Executives, who monitored the examinations.
Alas! Primary-level examination denied this (Ph.D-drop-out from JNU & poor/jobless chap) the chances/opportunities to become a teacher (if not, lecturers at Frankfurt School of Thought).
MONEY CAN BUY, AND WILL CONTINUE TO BUY, ALL THINGS IN THE LAND OF JEWEL (not necessarily Sanaleibak).
To recall, the Chingmis or Haao-machas struggled a lot, defended, shed their precious blood and fought the foreigners or phoreners’ intrusion/invasion to the land of the Jewel, which History books (including my Dad) evidenced. That the research scholars today called it ‘PRIMARY SOURCES’ (NOT SECONDARY one) Fortunately, my beloved dad (who left me in the late 80’s) was one of the recipients of KHAMEEN-CHATPA (the glorious/jaded shawl, which we still keep safe in our thatched-roof house).
No wonder, we have become foreigners/refugees in our own land, where the tribals (not necessarily the Kukis) are christened/tagged as HAAO-MACHAS!
Secondly;-
ELECTRICITY:
Regular POWER SUPPLY has been one of the foremost necessities (if not demand) of your electorates, particularly in the systematically deprived tribal areas of MONEYED-POOR!
Qualified/intellectual persons, who excelled in their studies and cracked the hard nuts in UPSC/IIT-JEE/IIM/MBBS examinations often mentioned about (share/air their grievances) IRREGULAR POWER SUPPLY (Yet, regular, 24X7 as and when some of your ruling elites and the HAVES-to borrow Marxist ideology- visit the second largest town in the state).
The big Question: Who can, and will, light up all the VILLAGES of Manipur-even the remotest corners & interior parts?
And the Answer: I strongly believe & hope that the SPF Govt., under the capabled leadership of my most respected Sir, Shri O. Ibobi Singh can (not shall) do it!
Sir, in this case, you may/have the POWER to light up all the villages, enlighten and develop all the people of Manipur-irrespective of Chingmi-Tammi. Please ensure Justice, Equity & Equal Distribution of goods & services in the corruption-ridden/conflict-ridden state, which we call Manipur (we may not be Money-poor by then). Ching-mi-tammi Amatani : Let’s stand by, not only in spirit, but in principles & practices.
Facta non verba!
This writer cannot, and will not attempt, to WASH DIRTY LINEN IN PUBLIC.
Yet, the writing on the wall is:- CORRUPTION HAS EATEN INTO THE VITALS OF OUR SOCIETY (much to the chagrin of this have-not) in the land of MONEY-POOR/MANI/MONEY-POWER, which we all worshipped & glorified.
Sir, could you and your good offices take measure/steps to transform MONEY-POOR into MONEY (RICH)-PUR?
This writer attempts to exercise “freedom of speech & expression”, endowed by the world’s lengthiest & bulkiest Constitution; yet if I happens to annoy (and cause nausea to you) inadvertently, or go beyond the limits (LOC/LOAC), I duly apologize.
Thank you Sir, for; I have stolen your “golden” time in reading this no-nonsensical letter.
If my sincere/humble appeals are realized/materialized, I will not (not shall) disturb and deliberately steal your precious moment in the future in reading as well as, airing my grievances.
Long live SPF Government & Long Live my most Respected & Honourable Chief Minister of Manipur, Shri O. Ibobi Singh.
May God give you WISDOM & conscientious thoughts in steering the ship of SPF & to ensure mutual co-existence of our multicultural state, for liberal democracy & multicultural theorist/expert, Will Kymlicka strongly & deeply emphasized!
Yours’ (die-hard fan of SPF Govt.),
