UPF is asked to returned the cadre's stipend worth 5.7 Crores.

(3rd May 2019 | Zogam.com) In an official letter dated 2nd April 2019, the Addl. Superintendent of Police, CID (SB), Wungpam Kasar have written to Shri TL. Jacob Haokip, JMG Convenor of UPF mentioning that there was objection against illegal transfer and withdrawal of Stipend fund for ZRA, ZDV and ZRF cadres and requested him to immediately deposit back the amount of Rs 5,71,86,000 (Five crores seventy one lakh and eighty six thousand) to the bank account of the Joint Secretary, Government of Manipur.

This Stipend was in respect of ZRA, ZDV and ZRF Cadres of UPF group which was released vide Home Department letter no. 6/1(95)2014-H(SHRE/Acct) dated 08 April 2019. The fund will then be park in the government account until amicable solution is arrived between the group leaders.
