SSPP foundation day observed

TSE,IMPHAL, Jan 13: The Siamsinpawlpi general headquarters observed its 68th annual foundation day at YPA Headquarters hall, Hiangtam Lamka today, reports our correspondent.

Distinguished achievers and meritorious students were honoured and presented with annual awards as part of the observation today.

The observation also saw the incumbent president Lianzapau Samte assuming office uncontested for another term.

The observation also marked the culmination of the competitions and other events which were organized to mark the foundation day celebration since the first week of January, with prizes for the competition being handed over as well.

The student body had on Saturday launched a novel project called ‘I Have a Dream’ in association with National Foundation for India and handed over study material to 11 schools in the interior areas.
