Imphal, March 27 2012: International rock band "Fire House" will be presenting a live show at Khuman Lampak stadium, Imphal on April 10 .
The event is being organised by 7 Sisters Entertainment (Sky Group Venture) in collaboration with Queensberry Foundation.
The rock band will be arriving in Imphal on April 8, and there will be an interaction with the media at Classic Hotel, Imphal on April 9, said Sunny Shimrah, a representative of 7 Sisters Entertainment.
The objective of the event is to send out a message on awareness on HIV/AIDS while presenting an international band like the Fire House to the rock fans and the general public of the state, stated Sunny Shimrah.
The rock band will be giving a live show at Dimapur, Nagaland on April 7 before their arrival here in Imphal the next day.
Tickets for the mega event will be available at Sasa Store opposite ISBT, and Classic Hotel, and the rate of tickets are Rs 1200 and Rs 500, informed Sunny Shimrah.
While talking to the media today, Shimrah said that one factor that drove him to bring an international band in the region is for the music lovers who could not have opportunity to travel abroad to witness the concerts involving the internationally known groups.

Fire House band set to rock and roll Imphal
Imphal, March 27 2012: The live performance of International rock band Fire House at Khuman Lampak, Imphal on April 10 has been confirmed, according to Seven Sisters Entertainment (Sky Group Venture)'s functionary Sunny Shimrah, organiser of the show.
Addressing the media today at the Manipur Press Club, Sunny Shimrah said decks have been cleared for the event while appealing all concerned to extend cooperation for the success of the event.
Meanwhile, a reliable source denied giving permission for staging such a live concert to anyone at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
He told The Sangai Express that permission would not be granted to anyone.
Members of the rock band would address the media of April 9 at Classic Hotel, a day after their arrival here, Sunny Shimrah said.
He also clarified that the ones who are coming to Imphal are original band members of Fire House.
The band would perform at the Football practice Ground, Khuman Lampak.
The event is being organised in collaboration with Queensberry Foundation.
