Observance of World Disability Day 2012
Removing barriers to create an inclusive and accessible for all

In a joint effort towards the welfare of persons with disabilities, Nehru Yuva Kendra Churachandpur (NYK), Churchandpur District Disabled Union (CDDU), Liliane Fonds /Diocesan  Social Service Society and Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) is organizing Observance of World Disbility 2012 in Churachndpur at The Malsawm Initiative, LFS Campus with a theme ‘Removing barriers to create an inclusive and accessible for all’.

Schedule of the Observance:

December 1, 2012:  
:: 10.30am – Submission of memorandum to/through Chairman/ADC  and DC/CCpur for ‘Barrier free’
::  12noon - Inauguration of Observance
-    Competition -  Gangnam Style Dance (for regular students upto Class XII)
-    Craft Exhibition
-    TMI Open Day

December 2, 2012 | 1pm:
:: Competition – Stand-Up Comedy (Open) for regular people
:: Craft Exhibition continue

December 3, 2012 | 1pm:
::  Ability Show for persons with disabilities
    Category I – upto 15 years below
    Category II- 15 years above
