PARTICIPATING TEAMS
1. Headquarters Aizawl, Jt. Headquarters Lamka, Jt. Headquarters Shillong & Jt. Headquarters Delhi can sponsor two (2) teams each
2. Blocks/Braches can sponsor one(1) team each
3. Teams from other cities such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata may also participate, if desired.
1 – MANDATORY MANAGERS MEETING
• A mandatory manager`s meeting will be held on Friday the 29th December, 2012 at 4.00 PM at the temporary office
• Coaches, managers or team representative MUST attend this meeting.
2 – ROSTERS
• A team can have a maximum of Sixteen (16) players on their roster.
• Change of the final roster will be accepted before the team plays its first game.
• Rosters must be turned in at the MANDATORY MANAGERS MEETING.
• Players are allowed to play in only one (1) team in the tournament.
3 - PLAYERS IDENTIFICATION
• All players must have a valid membership to which he represents
• List of players of each team would be certified by the President/Secretary of the sponsoring branch/block etc. Stamp size photograph of each player must be affixed in the space provided in the team roster format along with their signature. Each team shall have their own uniform.
4 – SCORE CARDS
• Managers are responsible for making sure that the proper score is recorded.
5 – TRASH BAGS AND CONTAINERS
• Every team is encouraged to pick up their trash themselves.
• Trash containers are available in the soccer complex.
• HELP US KEEP OUR FIELDS CLEAN.
5. Opening ceremony of the tournament will be held at the play ground on 5th January, 2013.
7. Exhibition Match will be played between Gen Hqtrs Team and Advisory/official team, Shillong on 5th January, 2013. Tournament matches will commence from the 5th January, 2013 (afternoon).
TOURNAMENT RULES
This tournament will be played under FIFA Rules, however the following modifications will apply
1 – All games will be considered as final and no protest will be allowed.
2 – Team rosters will be a requirement at the start of the tournament.
3 – Unlimited substitutions will be permitted.
4 – Yellow Cards entail an automatic fine of Rs 100 (one hundred). A player who receives a Second yellow card in one game will receive a red card and be ejected.
5 – A player ejected for a red card will automatically miss his team’s next game and be fine Rs200 (two hundred). (Depending on the severity of the ejection the Tournament officials has the right to extend the suspension)
6 – A player ejected for fighting or intentionally striking another player will be suspended for the rest of the tournament.
7 – A player or team official ( manager) who physically attacks a player, referee or tournament official will be suspended from the rest of the tournament.
8 – Any player not playing for the team that was on the original roster will be disqualified and the team that allowed him to play will forfeit the game.
9 – Teams that forfeit games by no-show will not be entertained for the whole tournament
10- The whole tournament will be of knock-out system, if the match ends in a tie, 30 minutes extra will be played and still if the match is a tie, it will be follow by penalty kick out (tentative, subject to change)
11- The games are 90 minutes with 45 minute halves, and with a 10 minutes rest (tentative, subject to change).
12- Teams have a 15 minute grace period from start time until issued forfeiture for no show unless otherwise decided by the tournament official (tentative, subject to change).
13- If teams have uniforms that are of the same color of the in a match, both the two Managers should inform the tournament officials well ahead of the match.
14- If any issues arise on the field, the team manager or captain needs to bring the issues to the referee`s attention and the referee will contact the tournament officials if necessary.
15- Any use of foul language will entail a yellow card.
16. Tournament rules/venues/date and time etc. are subject to changes as per local requirements, at the discretion of the organizing committee.
REMINDER: Team managers are entirely responsible to ensure that all players are properly registered to which he represent`s and meet the restrictions of the tournament. Managers must agree to convey the following waiver and release of liability to their players and agree that they have read and understood the rules of the tournament. Submission of the roster with the names of players and their signatures confirms this action. All participating teams may download the terms and conditions, Team roster format, take print out of the same for submission at the given address.
