To encourage and promote talents in photography, Zogam.com in association with the Eimi Photographers Club and Hornbill Cable Network open contest to all photo enthusiasts. Send us your best shot expressing the theme "nature and people". The winners will get cash prizes and citations. Prizes are sponsored by Hornbill Cable Network, Lamka.
PRIZES:
1st Prize: Rs 1000 and Citation
2nd Prize: Rs 500 and citation
People Choice Award: Rs 500 and citation. (Highest number of likes in our FB page)
ELIGIBILITY:
The Zogam.com Photo Contest is open to all. The admins of Zogam.com and their immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) are not eligible to enter.
ENTRY PERIOD:
The Photo Contest begins at 12:00am IST on March 21, 2016 and ends at 12:00am IST on April 4, 2016. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.
ENTRY FEE: There is no entry fee.

Photo Theme: Nature or People or Both.

One profile photo of the contestant.
CRITERIA:
Photograph must be in digital format. The photograph need not be taken with a digital camera; the image file must be not be larger than 6 megabytes, must be in JPEG or JPG format, and must be at least 1,600 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,600 pixels tall (if a vertical image).
The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the contestant. The photograph should not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph.
Only standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure, color and contrast, etc.) is allow. Watermark is not allow.
The photograph must not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.
The caption must be complete and accurate, sufficient to convey the circumstances in which the photograph was taken. Disguising or misrepresenting the origin of your content is cause for disqualification.
Contestant may choose either Nature or People as its theme or both.
JUDGING:
Photos will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, artistic merit and subject matter relevance to the theme chosen, except that the People's Choice award will be determined based on the highest likes on the Zogam.com Facebook page. Judging will be conducted by a panel selected by the Zogam.com admins. The Panel will evaluate all valid entries and pick the winners.
RIGHTS ON THE PHOTOS:
The contestants will retain all Copyrights to any photograph that they submit. If you submit a photograph to enter the Zogam.com Photo Contest, you grant Zogam.com a royalty-free, nonexclusive right during the Photo Contest to display the photograph on all the Zogam.com platforms like website, facebook, whatsapp group and app; and allow third-parties to share the photograph on the following social media platforms: Twitter, Facebook, and WhatsApp. If your photograph is formally honored by the competition as a winner, Zogam.com may use it to promote Zogam.com and the Photo Contest in future.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULT: 9 April 2016
RIGHTS TO CANCELLATION:
If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, due to unavoidable circumstances, Zogam.com has the right to cancel or terminate the contest by giving a notification to the general public.
