Announcement / Declaration

This information is to all the Admins and all the Jury members, sponsors of Zogam.com, well wishers and the general public, we the undersigned, on this day 1 March 2014 at New Delhi, conducted the final vote counting of SMS and Jury votes for the Zogam.com Person of the Year (ZOPA) 2013.  

We would like to recall that the event was announced in January 2014, this was followed by selection of top four nominees by Jury members and subsequently the names were announced for public voting which was open until February 28, 2014.

We also placed before the public once again that the final vote weightage comprise of 40% Jury and 60% public vote as mentioned in the public announcement of ZOPA dated 3rd January 2014.

The meeting today, after intensive verifications and minutely counting and cross checking the Jury’s votes and Public SMS Votes, we hereby declared that Mr C.T. Lian is the Zogam.com Person of the Year (ZOPA) 2013 by securing 38.64% of the total votes.
We re-assert and reaffirm that we abide by the procedure, principles that was earlier decided. The SMS voting system provided by www.aonesms.com has no scope for manipulations.

On behalf of the Admins and the Jury members, we extend our gratitude to all the Jury members, the nominees, the nominators and the general public for the overwhelming response. We are extremely motivated and encouraged. We also look forward to your continued support, enthusiasms and good wishes in our journey and endeavors.
