  • ADMISSION FORM - There will be a Common Pre-admission form (OMR) that will be available online as well as offline.
  • All students seeking admission shall have to fill this Common Pre-admission form (OMR)

ADVANTAGES OF THE FOUR YEAR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME

1.In this new Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP), you will have great flexibility and wide ranging choices.
2.This new programme is designed to combine knowledge with practical skills.
3.You will thus be better equipped to find employment or become an entrepreneur or plan for higher-end research based studies.
4.You will be provided free laptops for your first year of study at DU and you will be given special language, communication, IT, data analysis and science and life skills in a user friendly and practical manner. These are the Foundation Courses
5.You will understand the challenges of modern India and you will gain a better insight into your chosen subject of study, the Discipline Course I (DC I). You have the chance to earn a Bachelor’s Honours/B.Tech degree at the successful completion of four years.
6.SPORTS / NCC / NSS / EXTRA (CO) CURRICULAR: You will be happy to learn that after admission to a college if you choose to participate in sports related activities (or the N.C.C./N.S.S. Extra or Co-Curricular activities) you can get an attendance waiver for your chosen academic subject if you have to miss some classes. Rules apply.
7.MULTIPLE DEGREE OPTION: Though the University does not wish to encourage this in case you leave college after two years, DU shall acknowledge your education and award you a Diploma. You can return to DU in the future, within a time span, to complete your college education.
8.Similarly, if you were to leave after three years, DU shall give you a Bachelor’s degree. Needless to say, after 4 years you would be awarded a Bachelor’s Honours/B.Tech with your major subject mentioned.

Choose and study your main subject for your Bachelor’s Honours / B.Tech degree. This main subject is called Discipline Courses I (DC-I).

In addition, to the above main/ major subject you will study compulsory Foundation Courses (FC) which will help you to understand the challenges of India. You will work in a hands-on manner. Your communication, IT and data analysis skills will improve and you will learn in an inter-disciplinary mode.
