WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR NORTH-EASTERN CANDIDATES
TRIFED is a National level apex organization under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, striving to promote the economic development of tribal communities through marketing development and sustained upgradation of their skills and products such as tribal handicrafts, value added natural products and minor forest produce. The organization is poised for expansion of its operations covering retail marketing of tribal handicrafts and value added natural products and is also being entrusted with the task of implementation of the proposed Central Government’s Minimum Support Price Scheme for selected Minor Forest Produce. The organization with its Headquarters at New Delhi, operates through its 13 Regional Offices and a wide network of 36 own showrooms and 08 showrooms on consignment basis , located across the country, details thereof are given in TRIFED’s Website: www.tribesindia.com.
TRIFED wish to prepare a panel of suitable candidates particularly of Scheduled Tribes communities from North-Eastern States to be engaged for the retail marketing of tribal products at TRIBES INDIA Showrooms at different places across the country , against immediate requirement as well as future requirements.
Candidates should be in the age group of 19-35 years and must possess minimum 12th pass educational qualification with fluency in English and computer operation. Candidates with adequate experience in retail marketing will be desirable. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis for a period not exceeding 11 months. A consolidated remuneration of Rs.9528/- per month (for candidates possessing minimum prescribed qualification of 12th pass & Rs.10282/- per month (for candidates possessing qualification of graduation & above) will be payable.
For the purpose , walk-in-interview will be conducted on 26.09.2012 from 10.00 A.M to 4.00 P.M. at TRIBES INDIA Showroom, 9 Mahadev Road(behind Aakashwani Bhawan) New Delhi.
Eligible candidates with the right attitude for serving tribal cause and who are willing to serve in the remotest parts of the country only need appear for walk-in-interview at the time and date mentioned above alongwith their application/bio-data with photograph, original & attested copies of education mark sheets/certificates; ST certificate, experience certificates, etc. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

Other terms & conditions of hiring of persons for retail marketing operation of TRIFED w.r.t. Walk-in-interview for North-Eastern candidates scheduled to be held on 26.09.2012
1. Hiring is purely on temporary basis for a period of 11(eleven) months from the date of joining in TRIFED and it shall be deemed to have automatically come to an end on expiry of the hiring period. No further notice for termination will be given at the end of this period. During the period of hiring also unsatisfactory performance & conduct of the person and involvement of the person in any irregularity, will attract termination of the person and he/she will be terminated forthwith without assigning any reason or notice.
2. If person wants to quit the job, he/she will have to give one month’s notice or in lieu of the same deposit an amount equal to one month’s remuneration.
3. The person shall perform the duties assigned to his/her from time to time by TRIFED authorities.
4. The person shall abide by the rules and regulations of TRIFED and terms and conditions of his/her hiring.
5. Unauthorized absence from duty for more than 3 days without proper reason will lead to termination of the person.
6. The person will be paid a consolidated remuneration for each completed calendar month and for any period less than one month, the payment will be made on pro-rata basis.
7. The person will not be entitled to any other financial benefits such as allowances, perks, CPF, bonus, medical reimbursement etc. other than the monthly remuneration.(tax will be deducted at source, if applicable). The person shall not be entitled to any other facilities as provided to the employees appointed on regular basis.
8. TRIFED will not provide any accommodation to the person . He/She has to make his/her own arrangement.
9. The person should not have been convicted by any court of law (notorised affidavit to be submitted).
10. The hiring of persons will subject to verification of character and antecedents by Police. The hiring will be terminated immediately, if adverse report is received.
11. In case of reserved categories, the hiring of the persons will subject to verification of their caste certificates/disability certificates issued by the appropriate authorities.
12. In case the certificate is found false, the hiring of the person will be terminated immediately. If any declaration/information furnished is found to be false or any material /facts suppressed willfully, the hiring will be terminated immediately.
13. Only Gazetted Holidays/National Holidays and Weekly offs are admissible to the persons hired.
14. In case they are deputed for any official duty/tour outside the normal place of office work, they will be treated at par with the category of Jr.Assistant/Clerk level post of TRIFED for the purpose of determining entitlements of TA/DA & local conveyance charges.
