Born in 1993 is now 25 years old ! Bihar native and residence of Zenhang Lamka,CCPur selected in MBBS in Manipur

Amidst the massive and sustained civil movement for enforcement of Inner Line Permit System in Manipur, a native of Bihar has been found selected against the State’s quota of MBBS seats through the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT)-2014.
Rajesh Kumar s/o Ram Bilas Sah was listed in serial no 15 of the Manipur MBBS/BDS Counselling 2014 in unreserved category.
According to his birth certificate, Rajesh Kumar was born on February 15, 1993. Residential certificate given by the Churachandpur Additional Deputy Commissioner on June 18 this year said that Rajesh Kumar is a permanent resident of Bihar and his temporary address is Zenhang Lamka, Tiddim Road, Churachandpur.
But another residential certificate issued by the Churachandpur Additional Deputy Commissioner on August 6 this year gave Raj-esh Kumar’s address at Lam- ka, Tiddim Road Chura-chandpur. It also claimed that Rajesh Kumar has been residing continuously in Mani- pur for the last 20 years.
A third residential certificate issued by the Zenhang Lamka Village Authority on July 25 this year claimed that Rajesh Kumar’s name has been recorded in the village record book since the last 25 years. But Rajesh Kumar is not even 25 years if one goes by his birth certificate. So either the birth certificate or the residential certificates is/are forged.
Contradictory to the claim of the Churachandpur ADC and the Zenhang Lamka Village Authority of Rajesh Kumar being a resident of Manipur for the last 20/25 years, he cleared the All India Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination from Patna Central School, Sudar-shan Vihar, Patna, Bihar in 2010.
A press statement issued by the Vision Foundation, Manipur remarked that unscrupulous and unethical conduct of the concerned officials is a blatant attempt to hoodwink the public.
Even though Rajesh Kumar has been given offer letter, he has not been admitted for MBBS course be- cause some of his certificates are suspicious.
The Vision Foundation further questioned as to how a student born in Bihar and who did his schooling in his home State was selected in the State’s quota for MBBS course.
Rajesh Kumar was selected in the MBBS/BDS entrance examination of 2013 and he was placed in serial no 17. But he was not given admission as his residential certificate was found to be dubious.
Saying that Rajesh Kumar has fraudulently forfeited one MBBS seat which otherwise should go to a deserving student of the State, the Vision Foundation maintained that the people and the State Government should teaching all the erring and unethical officials including the Churachandpur ADC and the particular village authority chairman.
