To a query raised by reporters, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that he has already appealed to all concerned not to impose bandhs or blockades on the issue of difference between police jurisdiction and revenue jurisdiction over some areas of Senapati district.
The Government brought villages under the jurisdiction of nearby police stations for convenience of people. If people grievances or objections against such arrangement, the matter can be sorted out peacefully through dialogue, Gaikhangam added.[the sangai express]
