I always admire the fertile mind of LT's creativity. Some years back he presented me one of his books called 'Leel Simthu'.I thought I would just keep it and not read particularly when I have the spelling issue with our dialects. One day I just glanced through it with an intention to put down only.I found myself fully occupied with it till i finished the entire book. This book 'The Village Boy ' is another master piece of the same author.Since it written in simple and modern English, anybody could read it and enjoy his deep insights and perception of people, situations and things he encountered in his life and career. His childhood experiences are quite representative of all those who come from the hill interior areas.I particularly like the poem or the verse about himself.I wish the book an immense success to the benefits of all those who read it'

If the story of inspiring success and immense accomplishments in The Village Boy was fiction, we might not believe it. However, it is true, it is moving, it is heartwarming and enlightening, it is a book which has given pride to all our Chhinlung kinsmen. Vanneihtluang,
