Questions to Ponder

Lately, most of my valuable time is spent thinking, analyzing, calculating possibilities and zeroing the possible decisions that I should make about myself , my life and situations that surrounds me. I didn’t realize at all how I suddenly lost myself in thoughts and got drifted away in the process.
Probably it’s easier to think than to act. We always say it is time to act and carry out things which will bring us better results and positive outcome for ourselves and for people who are affected  by our actions. But what if the actions we take are not literally viable for implementation  and will not bring fruitful results?

How many times do we get stuck in deciding what is good for us and what is not? How many times do we listen to our instinct and admit that what we do or decide now may turn out to be  a disappointment for us in the long run. How many of us are more comfortable playing ignorant to things and incidents happening around us .How many of us agree to someone or something in spite of our heart telling us it is not. It is true that we are always standing and facing life’s questions and decisions at some point of time in life. Is is not bad to ask and have questions, is it? Voltaire himself have said “Judge a man by his questions and not by his answers.”

Then I realized, in life too we come across certain and continuous tough questions which need thorough thinking and processing to face and bring out the solutions. From our day-to-day life, our career, family, profession, society, and the world, we face  questions which make us think and decide, to decide what will be the best for us, to filter the risk and maximize the effective results.
This seemingly awkward and insane thought process I have been through makes me ex cogitate certain common questions that we come across in life and for that I wanted to list  down some important questions to ponder about our self which determines our course of action and situation.

Lets ask ourselves this questions and think, do we have the right answers for it?
Decisions making is required. The question is: Are we making them for ourselves, or are we letting others make them for us?
What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?
If not now, then when?

To what degree have we actually controlled the course our life has taken?
If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?

Which is worse, failing or never trying?

What are we most grateful for?

Which one is more important, Religion or Humanity?

Is it worth being selfish and think for ourselves at the cost of others happiness?

Exploited by freedom or Safety in Dictatorship, which is worse.

Hurt with the truth or make one happy with lies, which one is better?
“At the end of the day, the questions we ask of ourselves determine the type of people that we will become.”
