Silence creep across the golden plate
As the evening stars begin to climb.
And the weary world reluctant to bade the sun goodbye;
Would unhurriedly gather the strength to face the night.
With seemingly a sad and a cheerless tune,
I hear your voice again, RADIO MAN..
O'RADIO MAN, so far away..
Why is your tone so low tonight?
We both know such aid to our alarming distress is no where near!
Yes, it is destruction you address now,
And of wars and clash and the aftermaths..
A threat to existence, massive outbreaks of sufferings.
Is this how we repay? or should we still sit and comply?
RADIO MAN wouldn't you heed our calling?
There are much to request, an endless queries that bothers the mind.
We badly need to rest our exhausted thoughts.
For we stood all the pricks of fears over the ages.
RADIO MAN, let it be for the night.Won't you now play us some songs?
Or tell us of the soldiers coming home??
For all of us have waited, eachone worn-out.
We need an assurance that peace and serenity reign once more.
RADIO MAN, O' Dear Old Man..
When will your utterance promise the cease of doubts?
For when fears subsides, only then we can face the uncertainty of our tomorrows.
Won't you bring some heavenly chimes to guide us to our dreams?
So our minds be eased of the ugly realism.
Even if just for a while, Dear RADIO MAN..
Can we now dance with the tune you bring?
Help us bring forth a new era; the dawn of sweet peace.
For the world has been too long enduring..
Unity and brotherhood long awaiting....
