When We Lost You
Memories quietly fade
As days and years trade.
It seems like only yesterday
When you bid goodbye to lay.
The secret tears still flow
As the enduring days grow.
The heartache still remains,
But we've learnt to feign the pains.
The void you left, Dad, only God can satisfy
So we kept sending prayers, up to the sky
Gazing into the heavens, we quietly reminisce.
What a reunion will it be, on that eternal day of bliss.
*In remembrance of Dad's death anniversary, Dec 12.
